We were founded in 2016 as a way to help consumers find deals and reviews across the internet. Over time, our focus became financial services.
For 6 years we have honed our unique scoring system – “The Grade”….and we’re quite proud of it.
We want you to have trust in our scores – and the best way to do that is to be transparent and, where possible, to use objective measures of what good looks like.
In short, The Grade isn’t just us spouting off – we have a whole process that goes into how we award our scores.
There is a wealth of reviews by some pretty smart people out there. We bring them together into one place. Their scores are averaged and added into our formula.
We search the internet for genuine customer reviews. We add these to our score. In each review we pull out some of the most helpful user comments for you.
We also like to have a look at what each product is offering. Can you get cashback, a good interest rate or travel insurance? All this goes into our score.
Sometimes when you buy one of the products we recommend then we will receive a small commission from the provider.
On the other hand, some of the products we recommend we don’t get paid for at all, but we still recommend them because they are too good to miss.
We won’t ever recommend something we don’t believe in. If we started recommending duds then our users wouldn’t return!
If you’re struggling with the site, wanting clarification on something we’ve said or simply want to tell us we’ve made a mistake then we’re always keen to hear from you.
