Robin Thicke Wins Sexist Of The Year Award 2013

Robin Thicke has been voted Sexist of the Year by the End Violence Against Women Coalition (though it is strange that he does not share the award with Pharrell Williams, who seems to have got away scot free from the whole “Blurred Lines” debate).

The randy singer’s smug style, a sort of Butlins entertainer with a hard on, has led to him being declared a worthy winner in the field of annoying misogynists in 2013 and as a result is being sent a copy of Arthea Franklin’s R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Previously he has defended his controversial antics in his Blurred Lines video by saying:

People say, ‘Hey, do you think this is degrading to women?’ I’m like, ‘Of course it is. What a pleasure it is to degrade a woman. I’ve never gotten to do that before’.

Thicke by name…

Despite giving outstanding performance in the field however, there were some notable runners up:

2. David Cameron

The PM is runner up for the second year running as he continues to preside over a cabinet that has just 4 female members.

3. Godfrey Bloom

Also in the top 5 is little Englander Godfrey Bloom, but to be totally fair to him it is not just women but also gay people, foreigners and anyone who doesn’t hate women, gay people and foreigners that fall outside his limited scope of what is acceptable.

4. Tom Newton-John

While Stella Creasy was speaking in the House of Commons about banning page three, the political editor of the sun tweeted: Boldly, Stella Creasy has just asked the PM to justify Page 3 while wearing a bright blue PVC skirt in the Commons chamber.

5. Robert Colover

Barrister Robert Colver described a 13 year old as ‘predatory’ and as forcing herself on a 41 year old man. He no longer works for the Crown Prosecution Service.

6. George Galloway

He described having sex with a woman while she is asleep as ‘really bad sexual etiquette but whatever else it is, it is not rape’.
