The Guardian found the Ooni Pro to be a fun and impressive bit of kit, cooking pizzas in 60 seconds once you master cooking with extreme heat. They considered the looks to be a plus point but concede that some purists may not agree as the traditional clay or brick is replaced with stainless steel. The reviewer not only found it to produce great pizzas but stoking the fire to be very satisfying.

Wired gave the Ooni Pro a very good score, praising its looks and how easy it is to both assemble and use. The built-in pizza stones held the extreme heat and meant a short recovery time between pizzas, although it does need an hour to preheat for the best results. It is compatible with a lot of accessories although these aren’t included so will be an added expense.

Amazing pizzas!
I've loved my pizza stone for years, still do, however once you've tried your own pizzas in the ooni you'll never want an oven pizza again! We haven't tried the gas connection yet as we've found the charcoal and wood to be quick and easy to use. I would recommend getting two peels for using with the ooni, use one to launch one pizza, the other to prepare the next, if you're making more than one, which you will if you've gone to the bother of heating the ooni up, you'll want a wee production line going, making two peels essential. An amazing product for any pizza lover!

Excellent piece of kit!
Performed better than I could have imagined. Easy to assemble. Takes only a small amount of charcoal and a couple of split logs to fuel. Makes homemade pizzas taste really authentic! Overall a fantastic product.

Great product. Shame it isn't clearer to buy gas attachment
Lovely piece of kit that makes such fab pizzas. Just a shame that we didn't spot the small print that says to buy the gas connector separately. So far we have used kindling and charcoal mixed and the pizzas were great. Takes a good 45min to warm hot enough though.

Great oven, great pizzas!
A great oven for pizzas, haven't tried cooking anything else yet. Really simple to use, we have the charcoal and wood version. Gets super hot after about 40 mins in English winter weather. Then 2 minutes to cook a pizza.

Never buy takeaway again
Basically ready to use out of the box. Took less time to put together than to unpack it. So easy and portable too. I've tried it for the first time and I pre made the bases and pizza sauce. I cooked for my family of 6 one each. Each pizza took about 2 minutes. I used kindling and logs this time but will try charcoal next time. The oven was ready to use within 15-20 mins with a temperature of about 400 centigrade. The base was beautifully crispy and the edges puffed up nicely. I would say to get at least 2 pizza peels, preferably 3 (2 wooden for prep and 1 metal for turning). The logs burned a little too quickly, so I was adding more kindling and logs about every 2 cooks. This is where charcoal may be better. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes to entertain in the garden or cook outside. You can even take it camping. You won't regret buying one.
