Microwave Review reckon the C17MR02N0B is the best microwave in the Neff range. Its huge 45-litre capacity makes it more like a traditional oven. The ability to brown, crisp and bake also sets it apart from a run of the mill microwave. It can deliver an impressive 1000w, while its inverter technology can also reduce cooking times by 10%. However, it is very expensive and it can be a bit of a learning curve getting to get to grips with all the features.

Pros: A smart and versatile replacement for our ageing built-in microwave oven
Cons: What we wanted was primarily a microwave - with the extra features for busy times. What we got was an oven, with a microwave feature. It is less easy to use as a microwave than its predecessor - you have to press more buttons to do what you want, which is annoying.

Cons: Could be a bit more user friendly

Pros: Loved the plate warmer facility. As I have a single oven already having a grill means I can bake and grill at the same time.
Cons: Took me a while to master the instuctions. Think that was just me though.

Pros: this is a versatile oven...the look is great
Cons: - it is not that user friendly. you cannot just turn it on and get on with it....as an example finding the microwave function is not intuitive- unlike the built-in oven the door does not slide under the oven. I did not think it'd be an issue but since it is a smaller over it sits higher than a standard one and having the door in the way is sometime a bit problematic...- timing of delivery was beyond believable! we ordered this in August and got it in december

Grill comes on on microwave setting!
If find the outer grill comes on randomly when using the microwave setting. This is extremely dangerous and have burnt myself a few times. I thought it is a fault with our one but Neff advised that this is a 'feature' to dry out the condensation when using the microwave.

Don't buy this if you want just a microwave...but...
Great combination microwave. Yes, the door opens downwards (not to the left), yes, you have to push buttons quite a few times to get to the microwave mode, - but that's the price you have to pay because this appliance is a proper oven as well! I bought this to match my Neff oven with slide and hide door despite the poor reviews, and I am not disappointed. If you have a small family, comfortable with pushing buttons, and want one small appliance that does it all (bake, grill, microwave...), this will be ideal for you.

Useless microwave
This microwave only has 900W for 60 seconds it the reverts back to 600W. An engineer that came also stated it is a 1000W. The microwave is not intended to be used to heat food (it states this in the instruction book) at 900W, so it's a 600W (after the 60 seconds at 900W) microwave, not many foods or ready meals or basically anything cooks at that Wattage.,most instructions on foods is 800 or 900W. The display will always say full power even after the power has dropped after 60 second (when using 900W) You need to do your own research on this Neff will acknowledge all this if you contact them. This microwave is not fit for purpose.

Excellent product
I was very unsure about purchasing this oven given the reviews that I had read but wanted it to match the main oven. I must however, I am delighted with it and unsure as to why it has had negative comments. I haven't even looked at the instruction manual as yet as it is so easy to use. The menu button does all the work and switching between convection and microwave functions is literally a touch button away. Really happy with the product.
