The improved battery life impressed Expert Reviews who had no hesitation in calling the V8 the best cordless vacuum you can buy at the time of their review. Since then the V11 has come out which is even better. Both models are very expensive!

The Guardian was gushing about the V8. The tradeoffs of having a cordless are well known - smaller bin, a bit less power and you are always reliant on the battery being charged enough - but the V8 strikes the best balance.

Real Homes had no problems recommending the V8 as a great all-round vacuum. They did point out that you have the hold down the power button which can be a bit annoying to some people.
