What the experts say
CNET reckons that the SoundSport Free headphones are better than AirPods both in terms of sound and fit. They are also water-resistant and pretty durable. They do stick out a bit though and their charging case if larger than rivals
TechRadar disagreed that these headphones fitted well (so maybe it's an issue of the individual shape of your ears), though did concede they had good battery life and could take a hammering. Issues with noise isolation and a high price point left them with only a 3-star rating overall.
RTINGS.com liked the balanced sound, sturdy build and comfortable fit - but like Techradar had an issue with the noise isolation. They were also unimpressed by the microphone quality for phone calls.

The Sound quality is brilliant but these ear plugs have a major problem, when you are in an area with lots of Bluetooth devices like the beach or pool area (which of course is why you’d buy them), they constantly drop the Bluetooth connection to your device or the left earplug drops the connection. This is not just a faulty pair that I got, the internet is full of forums with people complaining about the same issues. You would expect better from Bose and therefore I cannnot recommend these.

I feel the volume is just not loud enough but sometimes it has been so maybe it’s just down to the song. My music is from Apple Music. Good quality and the battery lasts ages all in all they are good.

I have been using Bose SoundSport Free wireless headphones for some time now and I have not once experienced the connection issues being reported in previous reviews, I’d used SoundSport Pulse wireless headphones Connection – I have never once lost connection to the Slave (left Ear), this may be because mine are always fully charged as I have read somewhere that the left ear consumes more power faster than the right ear, this may explain the loss of connection other users are experiencing.

Very comfy and easy to fit in your ear. The sound quality is very good and bit louder then the wired version. If you used Bose product previously you will not be disappointed.

I've purchased to change the Bose Soundsport Pulse In-Ear Wireless Headphones I am happy with the change made, they fit very well, they don't go out even if I am running or jumping. Might feel like it will fall, but it stays there. I am happy with the battery as well - this was the reason for exchange- I've charged them once since I've bought them and that was 2 weeks ago. I use them every day either in the gym or just when I go to work.

I've had numerous headphones the latest was the Bose soundsport but these really take it up at notch or two, in fact these are the first phones u can use in a gym without the risk of them falling out at a crucial time ( other well known makes pop out all the time). They have a battery time of 5 hours but can charge up if u replace them back into their mission impossible charging case * once you see the case you will know what I mean) but all in all the best headphones I have ever owned.
