Expert Reviews thought the Apex Bike did a good job at bringing a studio-style ride into the living room. It’s well made, simple to set up and has a nice ride feel. The range of classes was also a plus point as was the fact it comes in much cheaper than a Peloton (but then it doesn't have a built-in display - instead you have to insert your own tablet into a holder). However, as yet, it does not have any virtual rides and the resistance knob can be a bit fiddly.

Cycle From Home was blown away by the looks of the Apex Bike. Its stylish and compact design was also backed by an impressive set of features including Bluetooth, SPD pedals and a dumbbell holder. The subscription service was also highly rated - especially due to the exclusive tie-up with Boom Cycle studio. The best point of all though was the significantly cheaper price than a Peloton.

Loving our Bike
Great variety of classes with a wide range of instructors. App works really well, power, cadence and calories all really clear, and I do like the competitive nature of the classes despite not being live. The Strava upload link could do with a bit of improvement as the data feed is limited. Also classes in real time would be a LOT of fun. Keep it aRead more about review stating Loving our Bikell going.

Good but plenty of room for quick improvement
Great opportunity to keep fit from home and classes are fun and informative. However, it is disappointing there is still no free ride programme and no live classes. Also, the website and Instagram failed to reveal a link to numerous off the bike classes. I have now been sent the link to them. Bizarre they are not available through the app?? I had Read more about review stating Good but plenty of room for quick improvementthought new classes would appear monthly. If you follow advanced classes you soon start repeating the same classes and it would be good to have fresh ones regularly.

Initially very good
I'm very pleased with the bike and the classes in general. i am a dedicated cyclist of the older generation and cycle all through the winter but this year has been particularly wet and cold with snow as well. i have found the Apex bike to be brilliant for daily use however i would just like to say that it could do with a few more 1 hour classes aiRead more about review stating initially very goodmed at the intermediate groups, much like Alex's intense hill climb with intervals. keep up the good work!

Can't stop spinning!
Love it!! Highly recommend.

Pretty great
If you're new to spinning, the Apex bike is a very good starting off point. For advanced riders it won't be the same as your studio experience as the bike is not as stable and wobbles a bit when standing up to ride. The resistance dial is really sensitive and that takes some getting used to. Some of the parts are a bit flimsy - with the screws neeRead more about review stating Pretty greatding to be tightened often during a ride. The real draw of Apex is the app - the classes are great, the instructors are fabulous and the variety is all there. The music, the energy, I genuinely love it. The app has crashed a few times on me, with my stats disappearing each time it does, but I assume those bugs will be worked out with each update. Overall, I'd recommend for newbies and those who miss the studio experience during lockdown.

Beautiful bike and brand that has very nearly reached the apex of spinning!
An incredible competitor that has entered the market of at-home spin cycling. Cheaper than a monthly gym membership, great choice of classes and the bike itself looks sleek in most settings! My only suggestion to improve the current offering would be a 'free ride' on the app that allows you to track use outside of a class. Apex has far exceeded my expectations
I didn't think I'd enjoy the bike as much as I do. The classes are well produced, great fun and definitely motivate you to exercise more which was what I needed. Can highly recommend.

Brilliant bike, terrible customer service
I love my Apex bike so much - its fantastically designed, looks beautiful in my living room, and is impressively sturdy. The app is great with a fab mix of metric and more traditional spin style classes, and different lengths and good mix of instructors. It's impressive how you really do feel like you're in a spin studio. I love that the Read more about review stating Brilliant bike, terrible customer serviceinstructors are Brits I know from BoomCycle - that was a key appeal of choosing Apex over others on the market. They are all superb, bringing high energy and positive vibes to every class and making you sweat and push yourself to the max. The customer service and expectation management is abysmal though. My bike was delivered over five months later than originally planned (eventually arriving in December), and I still haven't received my welcome pack or weights (its now mid Feb). With the delays on all three elements its been the communication that has been so frustrating - constantly over promising rather than setting realistic dates. The live classes are also long over due to go live. Its such a shame as the bike is amazing and absolutely worth the investment. I'd thoroughly recommend the bike, instructors and app. The customer communication needs serious work though!
