PC Mag awarded the Amazone Fire HD 10 an "Editor's Choice" award. It's not the best tablet on the market, but at this price it can't really be beat - especially on the hardware front. You can't install apps for the Google Play store and the camera is quite low-res, but the overall performance, ease of use and the Alexa integration make this tablet a bargain.

If you are mainly after a tablet for watching TV and movies then The Guardian reckons the Amazon Fire HD 10 can do the job. If you're prepared to forego Android and iOS apps and use Amazon's more stripped back environment then you won't find a better deal.

TechRadar also found this to be a good tablet on the hardware front - screen, battery life and performance were all decent (though there is some room to improve the speakers). The real issue is the software. It can split people, but f you can live without Android or iOS and want an everyday tablet, then this is for you.
